Connecting at the milestones...

Marriages, Baby Dedications, First Communions, Confirmations, we work hard to make each milestone memorable and special.

With more and more couples wanting a less traditional ceremony, we are here to help. We assist in writing and putting together all types of ceremonies and we take great pride and know it is an honour in being able to help you both on your very special day by officiating the ceremony for you.

Baby Dedication is a ceremony intended to be a commitment between the parents and God on the behalf of the child. The parents promise to raise their child in Christian faith until the child is old enough to make his or her own personal confession of Christ

We like to make First Communion a special celebration for all children in 2nd Class who choose to do this with us. It is always a celebration with family and friends. Our prayer is that the classes in the weeks ahead and the ceremony will provide an opportunity for each child to connect to God in a real and life-long way.

Our confirmation course is a 8 week course where 6th Class students learn about the foundations of their Christian faith in a fun and practical way. The children also get to spend time with the Youth Pastor which helps a lot in their transition to Secondary and Youth group. The ceremony is always powerful and personal, revealing the unique personalities of the children.

Connect Church truly is a Church that prays. Every Sunday, before and after our services, we provide a space where ongoing intercessory prayer and communion is available to you. There is a mid-week prayer line where dedicated people pray over each request. And hospital and house visits are available on request.

Baptism at Connect Church is a special Sunday of family and friendship, where those who have made a decision to believe in Jesus and want to show it through the biblical model of Baptism can do so. Baptism is a visible act with a spiritual meaning. It is a symbol of Christ's burial and resurrection. (Romans 6:4)
